How do I buy a ticket?

Tickets are valid for the date, route and departure time indicated.

There are various sales formats, divided into two priority channels, which guarantee a specific seat, and non-priority sales on board, subject to seating availability.

a. Priority channels:

  1. Online sales: By credit card or personalised MUGI card, up to 30 minutes before the bus leaves.
  2. Telephone sales: Up to 30 minutes before the bus leaves, by calling 843 740 286.
  3. Self-service machine: by credit card or MUGI* card, up to 10 minutes before the bus leaves.

b. Non-priority channel:

On board the bus. Cash or MUGI card, once all passengers who have already purchased a ticket via the priority channels have boarded.

* Get an anonymous MUGI card plus top-up balance at the airport information desk.

Cost of card: €5. Top-ups can be made in multiples of €5, and are valid throughout the Lurraldebus network, with a 60% discount applied from the very first trip. Up to 9 tickets can be purchased for one single departure with each anonymous card.

Access to the bus

  1. Those who purchased a ticket in advance via any of the priority channels board first.
  2. Other passengers then board in order of arrival and as seating availability permits. The fact that there may be unoccupied seats on board does not necessarily mean they are available for sale.

A refund of the amount paid should be requested by presenting the ordinary ticket and the 0 ticket either at the destination ticket office, or via the established postal system.

The refund will be credited to the same card which was used for payment or via the MUGI system, as applicable.
